Activation Instruction

With the active maintenance / subscription contract, you may be eligible for the license update.

As you were already informed by recent email, you will need to apply new activation key to get:

- Access to the latest software version and

- Access to Livestream map service (i.e. Bingmaps^TM) built-in to our product.

We understand that everyone will have different environment with different requirements. So, we have identified four (4) different cases as shown below with further descriptions. If you find the case that applies to you, you can click on it to get further details.

Case 1

To Update End User Computer /

License Hosted Locally /

Installing the Latest Version

- Your license is hosted locally (with USB key directly plugged in or softdongle loaded).

- You will install the latest version to your local computer now.

- Your license is hosted locally (with USB key directly plugged in or softdongle loaded).

To Update End User Computer /

License Hosted Locally /

NOT Installing the Latest Version

- Your license is hosted locally (with USB key directly plugged in or softdongle loaded).

- You're not ready to install the latest version yet.

- You would like apply license activation to get access to live-stream map service built-in to the software.

To Update License Server

- You do not have PTV software (i.e. PTV Vissim, PTV Visum, PTV Vistro) installed on this computer.

- You are only using this computer as a "License Server".

To Update License Server /

Without Internet Connection

- You do not have PTV software (i.e. PTV Vissim, PTV Visum, PTV Vistro) installed on this computer.

- You are only using this computer as a "License Server".

- But your license server does not have connection to the Internet.
