License Activation

This guide outlines the process for updating license information via an activation ticket.

 

License Activation

1. Locate the CodeMeter (CM) Stick.

2. Note the serial number on the CM Stick.

3. Insert the CM Stick into a working computer USB port.

4. Using Google Chrome or Firefox, open the activation webpage:
http://activate.trafficsoftware.ptvgroup.com/

5. Enter the ticket code provided by PTV (XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX).

6. Click the Next button.

7. Check the number of available activations.  Note, if this is 0, the activation has already been applied — please contact support.us@ptvgroup.com for further assistance.

8. Click the Activate Licenses button.

9. Select the CM Stick serial number (from Step #2).

10. Confirm with Activate Selected Licenses Now.

11. Once the license data has been transferred to the CM Stick, a prompt will appear stating “License transfer completed successfully!” Select the OK button and close the browser window.
